Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
1 loaf French bread
Preparation

Stir together softened butter or margarine and dill weed. Slice bread in 1-inch slices, cutting to but not through bottom crust.
Spread dill butter between slices. Wrap loaf in heavy foil.
Heat for 20 to 30 minutes or grill over low coals, turning loaf frequently.
