T - Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or shortening
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine 1 cup of room temperature butter or shortening with 2 cups sugar and 2 whole eggs.
    Beat with blending fork or spoon until well mixed.
    Then stir in sifted flour with baking powder. Add vanilla.
    Roll very thin and bake quickly in a 425\u00b0 oven.
