Spicy Raisin Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. seedless raisins
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    few grains each: mace and pepper
    1 jar tart fruit jelly (I use red currant or apple)
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Combine sugar and water; cook about 5 minutes.
    Add all other ingredients and cook until jelly melts and is well heated.
    Good with ham.
