Pecan Clusters* - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. butter, softened
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 c. pecan halves

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 2 cookie sheets.
Into large bowl, measure all ingredients except pecans.
With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients until well mixed.
Stir in pecans.
Drop mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls, 1/2-inch apart, onto cookie sheets.
Bake 10 minutes.
Remove to wire racks; cool.
Store in tightly covered container.
Makes 3 dozen.
