Fanny Farmer Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 can evaporated milk
    1/2 lb. butter
    24 oz. chocolate chips
    3 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar and milk in heavy saucepan. Cook until bubbly. Stir constantly and cook 6 minutes. Timing is important. Remove from heat and add chips, butter, nuts and vanilla. Stir only until butter and chips are melted.
