Rhubarb Crunch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. melted shortening
4 c. diced rhubarb
1 c. white sugar
1 c. water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Mix flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, shortening and cinnamon until crumbly.
Press half in the bottom of a 9-inch square pan.
Pour in rhubarb.
Combine white sugar, water, vanilla and cornstarch and cook until clear and thick.
Pour over rhubarb and top with remaining crumbs.
Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
