Listhe(Cookie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. milk
    1/3 lb. melted lard (no substitute)
    1/3 c. sugar
    3 to 4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix ingredients until dough is consistency of pie crust dough. Handle as little as possible.
    Cut dough in half and roll to about 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut in desired shapes (not too small) and slit centers and sides with a knife to keep from filling up with air. Fry in deep hot lard until lightly browned on each side.
    Drain on paper towel until cooled.
    Dust with powdered sugar just before serving.
    Very fattening, but very good; was given to me by my great aunt, Helen Smith.
