Apple Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. wheat flour
    1 1/2 c. wheat bran
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    1 c. chopped apple
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    juice of 1 orange
    scant 2 c. buttermilk
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. molasses
    2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Toss flour, bran, salt, soda and nutmeg together with fork. Stir in orange rind, apples, raisins and nuts.
    Pour the juice of 1 orange into a 2-cup measuring cup.
    Add buttermilk to make 2 cups.
    Add egg, molasses and oil; stir.
    Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients with a few swift strokes.
    Pour into greased muffin tins, 2/3 full.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes.
    Makes 24 muffins.
