Toll House Mud Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In bowl, combine flour, soda and salt. In bowl, beat brown sugar, butter and vanilla.
Add egg; beat. Gradually add flour mixture.
Stir in 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips and nuts.
Spread onto foil lined 9-inch square baking pan.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 23 to 25 minutes.
Immediately sprinkle 2/3 cup chocolate chips over top; spread evenly.
When cool, cut into bars.
