Sunday Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 potatoes, quartered
    6 stalks celery, chopped in 2-inch lengths
    6 to 8 carrots, chopped in 2-inch lengths
    stew meat chunks
    46 oz. can V-8 juice (less 1 c.)
    2 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Put all in crock-pot and cook one hour on high, then 8 hours on medium.
    Serve with homemade biscuits.
