Gourmet Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 1/2 c. rice (uncooked)
    2 small onions, chopped
    green pepper, diced (optional)
    celery, diced (optional)
    1 can beef consomme
    1 can water
    1 can mushrooms
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Place stick of butter on top of all ingredients in a casserole. Place in oven and bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Stir once after margarine is melted. Mixture should be firm and slightly brown.
