Ingredients

2 c. boiled beets, sliced
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. mild vinegar
salt
Preparation

Melt butter; add cornstarch, salt and sugar.
Stir in the vinegar gradually.
Continue stirring until the sauce boils.
Add the beets.
Keep warm until the sauce is a rich red.
Serves 6.
