Scalloped Hash Browns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 lb. bag frozen hash browns
    1 c. sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 stick butter, cut in chunks
    salt and pepper to taste
    garlic powder to taste
    1 can Durkee French fried onion rings
Preparation
    Allow hash browns to thaw slightly.
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Put into casserole dish; cover.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Pour can of Durkee French fried onion rings on top and bake, uncovered, another 15 minutes.
