Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. soda
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. butter or Crisco
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 1/2 c. flour

Preparation

Mix well and pat out on board.
Cut in shape desired.
Place on cookie sheet and bake until brown.
