Funnel Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    2 tsp. powdered sugar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients; add egg and milk and beat until smooth.
    Heat 1-inch oil in skillet or plug in deep fryer.
    Put finger over small hole of funnel and pour 1/4 cup batter into it. Remove finger to release batter into oil.
    Begin at center and move out.
    Fry 2 minutes, turning as necessary.
    Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Serve with fresh fruit or cinnamon.
