Chocolate Sauerkraut Cake(Phelps Sauerkraut Festival) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. butter or shortening
    3 eggs
    1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. sauerkraut, drained and chopped
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking soda and baking powder and set aside.
    Cream sugar and butter; add eggs.
    Mix well.
    Add vanilla, salt and cocoa.
    Mix well.
    Alternate flour and water; add kraut.
    Bake in greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
