Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream together shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well. Sift together dry ingredients.
Add to creamed mixture, alternately with bananas, blending well.
Stir in pecans.
Pour into well-greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
