Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    1 large box vanilla pudding, prepared
    6 bananas (2 to 3 per layer)
    1 or 2 cans chunk or crushed pineapple, drained
    1 or 2 cans fruit pie filling (your choice)
    1 or 2 cartons Cool Whip
    nuts
Preparation
    Bake cake as directed on package and let cool completely. Crumble half of cake in the bottom of a punch bowl.
    Then begin to layer: 1/2 pudding, 2 to 3 bananas, pineapple, fruit pie filling, 1/2 Cool Whip and nuts.
    Repeat layers.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
