Shanghai Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, sliced thin
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. beef broth
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced and drained
    1 medium red pepper, chopped coarse
    5 green onions, sliced 1-inch pieces
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 1/2 c. quick cooking rice
Preparation
    Saute beef in oil in large skillet until browned (about 5 minutes).
    Add cornstarch and blend well.
    Add broth, water chestnuts, red pepper, soy sauce, onions and black pepper.
    Bring to a boil, stirring often.
    Stir in rice and remove from heat. Let stand about 5 minutes.
    Fluff with fork.
