Quick Trick Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. scalloped potatoes
    1 (7 to 8 oz.) can minced clams, drained (reserve liquor)
    1 Tbsp. shredded green onions
    1 Tbsp. freeze-dried green pepper
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    In large saucepan, mix potato slices, sauce mix, amount of water and milk called for on package, clam liquor, green onions and green pepper.
    Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer about 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in clams, 2 1/2 cups of milk and the butter; heat through.
