7-Layer Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 head lettuce, shredded
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped pepper
1 can green peas, drained
1 c. salad dressing
2 Tbsp. sugar
8 strips bacon, fried crisp and drained
1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation

Fill large bowl 1/2 full of lettuce.
Add in order the layers of celery, onion, pepper and peas.
Spread salad dressing over peas and sprinkle on sugar.
Crumble bacon over top, then sprinkle cheese on.
Cover, refrigerate several hours.
Toss when about ready to serve.
Can put cheese on after tossed.
