Spinach Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh spinach
    1/4 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
    1 hard-cooked egg, diced
    1 small red onion, separated into rings
    1/2 c. Crisco oil
    1/4 c. red wine vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    freshly ground black pepper
    1/8 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Wash and pat dry spinach.
    Add bacon, diced egg and onion. Combine Crisco oil and remaining ingredients in a screw-top jar. Cover tightly; shake vigorously to blend well.
    Pour dressing over spinach mixture; toss lightly to coat evenly.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
