Clams Or Mussels Sauteed(Vongole Or Cozze Saltati) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 doz. fresh clams or mussels
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 tsp. red crushed pepper
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. basil
    3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    1/4 c. white wine
    1/4 c. fresh chopped parsley
Preparation
    Scrub and rinse
    shells of fresh clams.
    Place clams in large skillet.
    Add all ingredients to the clams and cook over medium high heat,
    shaking
    pan
    and tossing occasionally.
    As soon as clams open,
    they
    are
    done.
    Discard any that do not open. Serve immediately
    with
    crusty
    Italian
    bread, if desired. Makes 4
    servings.
    You
    can
    also combine mussels and clams together.
