Iceland Potatoes - cooking recipe

5 to 6 large potatoes
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
Preparation

Peel potatoes and boil until done.
Melt butter in a frying pan on low heat.
Add sugar to melted butter and bring to a boil.
The mixture will be the consistency of a syrup.
Do not overheat! Drain the potatoes and let them simmer a few minutes.
Pour potatoes and syrup in a serving dish.
