Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo
    1/4 c. water
    2 c. peanuts
Preparation
    Boil over high fire about 14 minutes or until peanuts smell done and the mixture is a cream color.
    Remove from fire.
    Add 1 1/2 teaspoons of soda.
    Pour onto two buttered cookie sheets. Spread thin and let cool.
    Break into desired size pieces.
