Chocolate Caramel Nut Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 oz. bag caramels
    5 oz. evaporated milk, divided
    German chocolate cake mix with pudding
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    1 c. chocolate bits
    1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts, divided
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt caramels with 1/3 cup milk. Set aside.
    Mix remaining milk, cake mix and margarine together. Press
    half of cake mixture onto bottom of ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake\t8
    minutes.
    Sprinkle chocolate bits and 1 cup\tnuts over
    crust; top with caramel mixture, spreading to edges.\tTop with
    teaspoons
    of remaining cake mixture; press gently
    into caramel
    mixture.
    Sprinkle with remaining nuts. Bake 16 to 18 minutes.
    Cool.
    Cut into bars.
