Ingredients

1 3/4 cups milk, scalded
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 yeast cake
1/2 cup lukewarm water
2 cups flour
2 eggs, separated
Preparation

Scald milk.
Add salt and butter.
When lukewarm, add yeast dissolved in water, and then flour.
Beat well.
Let rise overnight.
Add yolks well beaten, and egg whites beaten stiff. Cook in hot waffle iron.
Serves 4.
