Never Fail Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter
    1 stick margarine
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3 1/2 c. cake flour
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    dash of salt
    8 large eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar. Sift flour.
    Start with 1 cup flour. Mix, then add 3 eggs and mix.
    Continue adding flour and eggs, beating after each addition, ending with flour.
    Add milk accordingly.
    Then add vanilla and mix.
    Pour into 10-inch tube pan that is greased and floured.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
