Verne'S Quick Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter or margarine
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    2 tsp. vanilla or flavoring of choice
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl.
    Beat on medium speed until creamy and well mixed (about 10 minutes).
    Pour into prepared tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done.
