Old-Fashioned Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. sugar (or more)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1 1/2 c. undiluted evaporated milk (I use Carnation)
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell (deep dish)
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat
    oven to 425\u00b0.
    Mix
    pumpkin,
    eggs
    and
    salt. Spices can be mixed with
    sugar.
    Mix
    all filling ingredients and pour into pie shell.
    Bake 15 minutes and then reduce heat to 350\u00b0. Continue baking for
    45
    minutes.
    Do not underbake. Cool completely.
    Serve with whipped topping.
