7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 Head Iceberg Lettuce in Bite Size Pieces
    1/2 Cup Celery Thinly Sliced
    1/2 Cup Bell Peppers Thinly Sliced
    1/2 Cup Onions
    1/2 Cup Cucumbers Thinly Sliced
    14.5 oz. Can Peas Drained
    1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
    1 or 2 Boiled Eggs Sliced
    3.25 oz. Jar of Bacon Bits
Preparation
    In 9x13 inch glass baking dish layer the ingredients as follows:
    After the can of peas drained, Stop and with spatula spread 1 pt. of Mayonnaise over layers.
    Sprinkle on a pinch or two of sugar to taste, just enough to take the bite out of the mayonnaise.
    Then continue with the rest of the ingredients. Refrigerate - Serves 8-10.
