9 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
    6 oz. grated Parmesan cheese
    6 to 8 slices crisp bacon
    1 pt. Miracle Whip salad dressing
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Make one day ahead.
    Shred lettuce and put in bottom of bowl. Layer other ingredients:
    celery, onions, green pepper, peas, salad dressing and sugar.
    Sprinkle cheese and crumbled bacon on top.
    Refrigerate at least 8 hours.
