Grandma Edith Nollan'S Cranberry-Orange Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    juice and grated rind of 1 orange
    2 Tbsp. Wesson oil
    water
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. cranberries, cut in half
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt together. Combine orange juice, grated rind, oil and enough water to make 3/4 cup liquid.
    Stir in beaten egg.
    Pour into dry ingredients, mixing just enough to dampen.
    Fold in nuts and cranberries.
    Spoon into greased loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Remove from pan to cool.
