Mother'S Ice Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft butter
    1/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 qt. ice cream
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar and vanilla.
    Sift flour and salt.
    Add to butter mixture and blend well.
    Chill 30 to 45 minutes.
    Pat into 9-inch pie pan.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
    Cool.
    Fill with ice cream.
