Eggless, Butterless, Milkless Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. seeded raisins
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. water or coffee
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. shortening
4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation

Boil raisins, sugar, coffee, salt and shortening for five minutes; cool.
Sift together dry ingredients three times and add to mixture.
Bake in two loaf pans or one tube pan at 275\u00b0 for 90 to 105 minutes.
