Holiday Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1-1/2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 c. all purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 (4 oz.) jar chopped, mixed, candied fruit
Preparation
    Blend butter and sugar until very light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating one minute after each addition. Fold in flour, vanilla and candied fruit. Line a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan with aluminum foil. Pour in batter, bake at 325\u00b0 for one hour and 45 minutes. Frost with confectioners sugar icing. Decorate with candied fruit.
