Apple With Hay - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 tart red apples
    1 c. oil
    2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    2 c. fine egg noodles, uncooked
Preparation
    Melt butter in a skillet over low heat.
    Add sugar.
    Turn up heat to high and cook, stirring occasionally until mixture forms a light brown syrup.
    Add apples to syrup and brown on each side, turning only once.
    When apples are a light brown, remove them to an oven-proof pan and sprinkle with the lemon juice.
    Bake apples about 8 minutes until glazed and heated through.
