Mixed Salad Medley - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    1 onion, diced
    1 green pepper, diced
    1 c. celery, diced
    1 can red kidney beans, drained
    1 Tbsp. mustard
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    2 to 3 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
Preparation
    Cook frozen vegetables according to directions; cool.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cook sugar, vinegar, water, mustard and flour until thick (2 or 3 minutes).
    Cool.
    Pour over vegetables and marinate at least 24 hours.
    Stir a couple times.
    Can be made 4 days ahead.
