Spanish Rice Mexican-Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    1 medium onion
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    1 medium jar mild salsa
    1 lb. ground meat (optional)
Preparation
    Brown ground meat and drain.
    Saute onion and add salsa. Dissolve bouillon cubes in 1 cup water.
    Heat and add rice and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Turn off heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
    Mix everything together and serve.
