Beef And Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 lb. top round or sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 can tomatoes, broken up
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 large green peppers, seeded and cut
Preparation
    Microwave Dish: Put oil in 2 or 3-quart casserole or baking dish. Add beef and toss so that meat is cooked with oil. Add onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook, uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring twice (cook power 7). Add tomatoes; cook, covered, 5 minutes, stirring once. Add green peppers; cook, covered, 6 minutes stirring once. Serve with rice or chow mein noodles. Yields 4 servings.
