Creamy Orange Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 serving) pkg. orange flavored gelatin
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 1/2 c. mini-marshmallows
2 c. vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin orange segments, drained
Preparation

Mix gelatin and water in 2 1/2 to 3-quart microwavable bowl. Microwave on High 1 1/2 minutes.
Stir to dissolve completely.
Add marshmallows; microwave 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until marshmallows are puffed and almost melted.
Stir mixture slowly until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is smooth.
Add ice cream.
Stir with wire whisk until melted.
Stir in oranges; pour into 6 cup ring mold.
Refrigerate 45 minutes or until set.
To unmold, dip in hot water 10 to 15 seconds.
Gently pull gelatin from edges with moist fingers.
Place moistened serving plate on top of mold.
Invert, holding mold and plate together.
Shake slightly to loosen.
Gently remove mold.
