Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine or butter
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
    1 Tbsp. vanilla or almond extract
    2 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Cream the butter, sugar and salt. Add pecans and vanilla. Gradually blend in flour and mix thoroughly. Roll into balls or crescents.
    Place on cookie sheet. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0. Roll in powdered sugar.
