Best Ever Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (16 oz. will also do, must be packed in heavy syrup)
Preparation
    Stir with wooden spoon (do not beat).
    Grease and flour pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 in 9 x 13-inch pan for 40 minutes.
    Check closely. Cool cake and frost or powder sugar top.
