One Hundred Year Old Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 eggs
    3/4 lb. sugar = 12 Tbsp.
    1 lb. flour = 4 1/2 c.
    1/2 lb. butter = 1 c.
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks and whites separately.
    Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks, then flour in which baking powder has been added. Flavor to taste (vanilla or lemon).
