Quick Borscht - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can condensed beef broth
    1 lb. shoestring beets (1 can)
    1 c. shredded cabbage
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    dairy sour cream for garnish
Preparation
    Heat together beef broth, beets (with juice), cabbage, onion and sugar to boiling point.
    Reduce heat and simmer gently 5 minutes.
    Stir in lemon juice and chill thoroughly.
    Top each serving with a spoonful of sour cream.
