Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. mace
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon and mace.
    Add flour mixture to butter and sugar.
    Mix alternately with bananas.
    Fold in pecans.
    Pour into well-greased loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes.
    Bread will have a big crack in center.
