Cherry-Pineapple Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can cherry pie filling
    1 large can crushed pineapple (don't drain)
    1 box white or vanilla cake mix (don't mix)
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
Preparation
    Mix cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Pour dry cake mix over the top of mixture.
    Cut butter into 1/8 to 1/4-inch squares and place on top of cake mix (a 4 x 6-inch pattern usually works best).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about an hour or until top is golden brown.
