Italian Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. fat (Crisco)
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1 (3 lb.) beef roast
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    1/4 c. chili sauce
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 clove garlic
    1/4 c. sliced stuffed olives
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown lightly onions and mushrooms in fat about 5 minutes. Remove.
    Rub meat with flour.
    Brown in fat on both sides.
    Put roast in casserole and add remaining ingredients, mushrooms and onions.
    Cover tightly and simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours or longer, if necessary.
    Pour the remaining sauce in casserole over meat before serving.
    In oven, cook at 350\u00b0.
