Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. popcorn
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Pop popcorn.
    Melt margarine in a 1 1/2 to 2-quart dish.
    Add light brown sugar, light corn syrup and salt.
    Bring to a boil in microwave; boil for 2 minutes on High.
    Remove; add soda and stir. Put popped corn into a large double strength grocery bag (do not salt or butter popcorn).
    Pour hot syrup over popped corn.
    Roll top of bag down and shake.
    Microwave for 2 minutes on High; shake bag.
    Microwave 30 seconds; shake again.
    Microwave for another 30 seconds.
    Put in pan; let cool.
    Store in airtight container if there is any left after sampling.
