Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    3 beaten egg yolks
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
    baked pie shell
Preparation
    Cook the first 3 ingredients over moderate heat until mixture boils for a minute or less.
    Add the beaten egg yolks, butter or margarine and lemon juice; mix well until thickened.
    Pour into the baked pie shell.
